season 4 of CSI: NY premiered last wednesday night at 10 p.m. on CBS.
while there are some changes on the show, most everything else is the same.
MAC TAYLOR is still the coolest boss in the world
STELLA BONASERA is still the GI Jane of NYC
DON FLACK is still the detective to get the job done-right
DANNY MESSER is still sexy as hell
LINDSAY MONROE is still take-charge when the job demands it
SHELDON HAWKES is still the know-it-all with charm m.e./csi
ADAM ROSS is still the kick-ass coolest lab tech of them all
SID is still the medical examiner with the mostest
what has changed?
well, the theme song/opening sequence for one.
while i enjoyed the original theme of "Baba O'Rielly" better, this one is still funky in it's deliverance, so i can deal with it.
the sequences that introduce "new material" for the main cast is just hella good. :) i love that they have incorporated new shots and shown the strong points of each cast member in such an elegant way. it shows that these are NYC's finest and you best take notice! (Carmine's scene is especially sexy!)
the episode:
one of the best, i think. (and we all know the opening episode of the new season had a lot to live up to in the aftermath of the season finale, which was totally awesome and totally one of my favorites!)
***we have mystery surrounding the repetition of 3:33. what does it mean? who is calling mac at this time of day and not answering? does it have something to do with his wife, her son, the rapist/killer that died in his presence on the roof top? the questions are endless. i have a theory that it might be connected with the rapist/killer, but that's just my thought.
***someone defaced the statue of liberty, murdered a security guard, and is now on a killing spree that he/she definitely wants the csi's to investigate by leaving clues at the scene of the crime.
***we have a murder that was not solved from almost a year ago that stella had investigated. why was it not solved? who murdered the girl? what does her murder have to do with this latest string of murders?
***danny is sexy with his white shirt on (must've appreciated the positive feed-back from the girls out there in cyber world from the shirt he wore on the season finale) he's bad-ass and he's tender and caring toward the girl at the end (even after he called her a liar and totally called it) and lindsay has a new hair cut, which i like very much (but i'm still not sure about the character of lindsay monroe) i hope they bring back her spunk. i'd really like that. the giggles were abound with the spray on condom bit when she put it in danny's pocket. good times! not to mention the fact that flack is still tall, dark, and handsome. gotta love detective flack. he's take-charge and gets the job done right. yep. yet, he and danny take the time to have a flesser moment. *yay* take that big baddie down! (if ya saw the chase scene, ya know what i'm talkin' bout)
***adam and kendal--the new danny and lindsay? they are quirky and cute together. they make you laugh and believe in love. sure, they're not together yet, but i have to say, there is so much sexual tension between those two, that they'll be sexin' on the lab floor before too long much like danny and lindsay did on the pool table. who knew adam ross was such a kinky lil bastard, anyways? :)
***all-in-all, i liked the episode. it was a weird story/plot from start to finish, but pleasuable to watch it unfold. the music tie in, the use of technology, and the vigilante spin approach (which made you look at the killer and think: he was justified in some ways for his actions) had something refreshing about it. LOVED IT!
til next time!

SORRY SO SLOW ON UPDATING! <3
ok.
it's been a lil while since i've posted on my blog dedicated to CARMINE GIOVINAZZO, i know. and i apologize for not posting sooner/finishing Boulevard of Broken Dreams for you dedicated readers. i really don't have an excuse for being lazier than a cutsie lil bunny rabbit, but i have been preoccupied with the other man in my life: my fiance, JONAS. (who i <3 very very much!)
anyways. i know that's not really an excuse, but things have been mad-crazy the last couple of months: f y i, JONAS came down to see me and stayed for a month (yay!) but he had to go back home for a lil while and now i have to wait til he decides to return. :( i am sad that he's gone, but i know that he'll come home soon. we're supposed to be getting married soon. (it was supposed to be Oct. 6th but that changed when my nephew decided to get married on that day) now, i don't know, i'm thinkin' Nov. 2nd. (we'll see) in the mean-time, i'll write some on Carmine Giovinazzo, BoBD (my fan-fic), and CSI:NY in general.
So...
ENJOY!
