ALL I WANT FOR MY B-DAY IS s3 OF CSI:NY!!!

i didn't want anything else for my b-day this year.
i told my parents that i wanted this dvd set for weeks leading up to my actual b-day.
whenever i asked them what they were gonna get me and they said they didnt' know, i would say: "ya know what i want???" and then proceed to tell them that all i wanted for my b-day was s3 of csi:ny.
granted, i had seen every episode of the season.
but that didn't matter to me at all.
i wanted the dvd and i wasn't gonna settle for anything less.
no was not something i comprehended when it came to s3 csi:ny.
(but it didn't hurt none too much that my mommy loves the show also and had not seen every episode herself)

what i love about the dvd collection:
so far i have not gotten a real chance to sit down and watch every single episode and the extras cos i've been hella busy. but i do plan on doing it eventually. considering the fact that i have seen all the episodes, i am not in a major hurry about scanning thru the disks and watching the episodes. altho, i can't wait to see the "body farm" extra. i live in tn, so i am familiar with the ut body farm. it's interesting in and of itself, but to actually see it in an extra featurette on my new s3 csi:ny dvd is beyond cool!!!

what i don't love about the dvd collection:
there is not enough interviews with the cast/crew. i like the behind the scenes stuff and i like to get the insider scoop, ya know? not much commenting from carmine, except on the "silent night" episode. nothing from anna, which i think is sad. she could have atleast been interviewed on lindsay's anxieties about going back to montana and facing the man who murdered her friends and how it affected her character and her relationship with danny (i am not a d/l fan, but it would have been nice to have had the actor(s) insight on the their budding relationship in the work place and outside and what the future might hold) also, i think the ladies would have loved some FLESSER moments, ya know? maybe a mini game to play like they have on "ghost whisperer". and i would have really liked some kinda gag-reel, ya know? it would have been fun to see the actors goofing off behind the scenes when the story-lines are so dark and cryptic all the time.

all in all, i love the s3 dvd collection.
i love that ya get to see the team do what they do best.
danny is sexy.
lindsay is tolerable.
flack is sarcastic.
stella is sensitive.
mac is secretive.
hawkes is charismatic.
sid is funny.
adam is cool.

this is the season that the fans are introduced to two new characters, too.

peyton driscoll, m.e.
she is british and she is mac's new girlfriend. while they try and keep the relationship on the down-low, it turns out to be harder they think. everyone knows about them eventually, with danny's famous line from "heart of glass" DOES FLACK KNOW??? yeah, everyone knows, danny. everyone knows!

detective jennifer angell, homicide>
she looks a bit like aiden, yes, but that's ok.
angell has her own style, her own attitude.
she's kinda like the female version of flack.
no-nonsense kinda homicide detective.

i say go out and buy s3 of csi:ny. it's never too late to appreciate some kinda perfection!

if for nothing else, enjoy danny messer in his blue shirt. enjoy danny messer with his dog-tags. enjoy danny messer in his white shirt. enjoy danny messer with or without shades. enjoy danny messer in his green t. enjoy danny messer with his gun. enjoy danny messer without a shirt on at all! but above all else, enjoy the sexy beast that is danny messer...er...carmine giovinazzo.
