this means, i'm probably not gonna post anymore here. i'm sorry if anyone has been reading em & this makes you sad, but i can post more over at my LJ & not have to do it by chapters.
basically, it's easier for me, not as stressful, me thinx.

you can read em here:
http://snow_write_83.livejournal.com/

also, there will other stuff over there. like, poems i've written or poems i like by others. and some original works, eventually.

FLESSER is soooo darn SEXY!!!!

ok, if you are a fan of either Danny Messer & Don Flack of csi:ny or heck, if ya love em both like i do *giggle* then ya should totally check out this video on youtube...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=oenZm2kpAfY

the song says it all, those two are definitely sexy :)

AW, SAY IT AIN'T SO...

yeah, so i just got done watching the new episode of csi:ny.

(btw, i thought wednesday, 10 p.m. was never gonna get here...)

it was a very good episode, i must say. we got to have some cute lil DF moments (or as i like to say, Flesser Moments, hehe) we got to have flack dressed casually, which is always a plus. :)

i love it when eddie & carmine get to have scenes together acting as if danny & flack are the best of friends cos as most die-hard fans of the show know, cahill & giovinazzo hang out together when they have down-time from the show...they totally went to colorado on vaycay a bit ago & had the time of their lives on a rafting adventure & a hot-air-balloon ride, awwwww.

the cabbie killer case was kept alive in this episode, it's been pretty entertaining & now we have to worry about poor lil reed (mac's step-son) he might be murdered or something awful like that...i feel so bad for mac cos reed is his only connection to his deceased wife, claire. :( i hope they don't kill off reed, cos he's a cool character & kyle gallner is just awesome in the part.

and for the best part? we got to see rikki again!!! i love her...jacqueline pinol is sooo pretty. :) i wish she was a regular, but alas, they have decided to have her move away...leaving danny with only the memory of her son & the nite they spent together & some sugar (she took it to him, idk why tho) anyhow, when she told him she was leaving, poor lil danny's face just fell, i know it hurt him cos i think he totally has feelings for her, he just doesn't wanna hurt her or screw up his relationship with lindsay any worse than he already has...

he's trying to fix things, the DLers should be happy by the attempt that he's actually making to fix things b/t em...that shows that he's not a bastard, after all (like we've all been screamin' for weeks now) i'm not a fan of DL myself, obviously, but i think the fact that danny's tryin to fix his mistake (altho, i don't think he made a mistake) shows that he's decent. and i've always known that about danny messer myself :)

but i wouldn't exactly count rikki out just yet...i mean, there's still the possibility that she could return cos of the awesome job jacqueline pinol did in her episodes & that fact that she & carmine have sizzlin chemistry together :) i got the feeling that carmine enjoyed working with her...so, he might suggest her return or something, idk.

all i know is i want her to return sometime in the future cos it would be awesome to finish something with em, i mean, sure she said good-bye to him, he told her good-bye as well, but i got the feeling that he was disappointed that she left...i think he wanted her to stick around, i think he wanted to give her a kiss, i think she might be his baby mama :) (a girl can hope, can't she???)

BTW, JACQUELINE PINOL WAS BREATH-TAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL IN HER SCENE. :)
I'M GONNA MISS HER SOOOO MUCH!!!!

4.12.2008

oh, ya know i had to bring out my Buffy love...

yeah, the banter b/t Flack & Stella was great, no?
i love the whole Vampire thing, i could totally see Flack cocking an eye brow just askin' that, straight face & all. :)

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Danny & Abby...i just love em together!!!
i don't know what it is about me, maybe it's cos i can't stand the way Lindsay treats him, maybe it's cos i kinda put a lil bit of me in the mix i used to create Abby Walker, whatever the reasons behind my obsession with this pairing, it causes me to giggle mysteviously! ;p
(also, i just get a kick out of the whole "reading me" part b/t the two of em...) like most things i write concerning Flack, i could totally see Danny doing that, too...stopping, crinkling up his nose & askin' her if she's trying to read him, lol.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Abby not seeing snow was a cop-out scene i guess. i know that being from the South myself, ya do get to see snow every once in a while (heck, we even had a huge blizzard back in 93) but i had to have them talk a lil bit on the way to the apartment building.
Also, i totally remembered when Danny told Flack that no one in his apartment building knew him...so i had to throw that in there when they met those people in the elevator. :)

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

the whole scene b/t Stella & Linday...God!!! i had to give lil miss drama queen her moment, much like i did in Boulevard of Broken Dreams. i mean, it's inevitable that Lindsay would totally freak out (inside of herself, if not outwardly) and think that she had competition with another female in Danny's life.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

MORE TO COME L8ER, PROMISE!!! (totally gonna be some hott kisses b/t D-n-A, lol)
* * *

Stella Bonasera walked into the lab.
Lindsay Monroe was busying herself with some DNA samples that Stella had sent in to have analyzed. She turned to Stella when she entered the lab and smiled by way of greeting.
"How ya comin' along with our blood, Kiddo?" Stella asked.
"It's your vic's," Lindsay answered as she handed the report over to Stella.
Stella scanned it for a moment, then turned back to Lindsay. "What about the prints?"
Lindsay gestured to her microscope. "It's female. No hits in the system, though."
Stella looked at the slide for herself. "Could be the wife's."
"But her alibi checked out, didn't it?" Lindsay asked.
Stella nodded. "I wonder if maybe Mr. Wakely had a visitor."
"A girlfriend?" Lindsay asked, slowly.
Stella nodded. "Maybe she liked to role play. The weapon is a stake. Maybe they were playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But Mr. Wakely got slayed for real this time."
Lindsay smiled.
Stella started to leave the lab, but she stopped herself. "Hey, Lindsay? How ya doin'?"
Lindsay shrugged. "I'm ok."
"Linds, it's me. You can tell me if you're not ok."
Lindsay sighed. "I'm dealing..."
"It'll take time. Trust me. You've delt with your demons and now you can move forward," Stella assured her.
Lindsay nodded. Stella reach out and squeezed Lindsay's shoulders like a good mother would do for her aching child. Then, she turned to leave the lab.
"Um, Stella, have you met the new girl yet?"
Stella stopped at the door, turned back to Lindsay, and stared at her for a moment. "New girl?"
Lindsay nodded. "Yeah. I saw her with Mac earlier. Dark hair, pretty."
A slow smile spread over Stella's face, she leaned up against the door-facing, folding her arms across her chest. "He got her to come here."
"Who?"
"Abby Walker. The profiler from Miami-Dade."
"Miami-Dade? Horatio Caine's Miami-Dade?" Lindsay asked, her face full of confusion.
Stella nodded. "The one and only. Mac told me a few weeks ago that he had spoken to Horatio, but I didn't think he actually went as far as to request permission to get Abby Walker to come here. She's the best female from the South in the field, ya know."
Lindsay shook her head. "I didn't know."
"She's young, too. That makes her more special. She also worked at Quantico."
"Really?" Lindsay felt her heart sink, she had always wanted to work at Quantico.
"Yep." Stella's smile widened a little more. "She could have worked under the FBI, if she'd wanted, cos they really wanted her, but she chose to work at Miami-Dade because her Father had worked with Horatio when he had first moved there. She wanted to be with the people that she knew. Shame, really. She would've done a wonderful job, I'm sure, under the FBI."
"She seems like a very special girl," Lindsay whispered.
"Oh, she is. Danny met her a couple years ago when he went down to Florida with Mac on a high profile case. When he came back, he couldn't shut up about her. Kept going on and on about how she knew exactly what to look for when it came to profiling, but also had the science side of the case under control, too. She's quite the expert when it comes to both sides of the work: psychology and forensics," Stella explained.
Lindsay cleared her throat, she looked nervous. "Danny knows her?"
Stella cocked an eye brow up at the girl before her. "He does. Is that going to be a problem?"
Lindsay shook her head. "No. Why would that be a problem?"
"Where's Danny now?" Stella asked.
Lindsay smiled, shyly. "I dunno. I'm not his keeper."
"Well, earlier he was at my crime scene. Mac called him and he left. I figured he had another case he needed to work on, but you're still here. Wouldn't you go with him if he needed an extra hand?" Stella asked, eyeing her suspicously.
"Not always. Sometimes I do lab work, Stella, you know that."
"True. But you said you wanted to get back into the game, didn't you? I mean, Mac knows you want to be out there, why wouldn't he put you on a case with Danny if you're ready?"
"I don't know, Stella. Why don't you ask Mac yourself?" Lindsay asked, feeling annoyed by all the questioning.
"I was only askin', Linds. You seem a bit jealous of the new girl to me."
"I'm not jealous. I don't think of Danny in that way."
"Sure," Stella answered as she turned and headed out of the lab.
After she was gone, Lindsay sighed heavily. She didn't want to feel jealousy toward the new girl: Abby whatever her name was, but it was hard for Lindsay not to feel that way when it came to Danny Messer. He liked her, and she liked him, but things were complicated for her. Atleast, that's what she kept telling herself so she wouldn't have to make a decision about their future. She reach into her lab coat pocket and pulled out her cell phone. No messages. No missed calls. Nothing! Danny hadn't called her for anything. He usually did if he needed her help on something that was work related.
Was he out on a case somewhere with Flack? She hoped so.
Or was he with Abby, the perfect CSI/Profiler from Miami-Dade. She feared he was.
Danny and Abby walked from the parking garage outside of his building.
It was still windy, blowing Abby's dark hair about her shoulders, which was something she would have to get used to, she supposed. Back in Miami, it was windy, but the air was warm and salty. This air was not like that, at all. Strange, she had thought, she thought she would miss the salty air of the beach once she moved to New York, but Abby found herself grateful for the crisp air, the humidity wasn't causing her hair to go flat like it did in Florida.
"When will it snow?" Abby asked, trailing behind Danny, trying to keep up with his fast-paced walking across the pavement that led to his building.
Danny glanced back at her with a smile. "Not for a couple months, still."
"Oh."
Danny stopped. "Have you ever seen snow?"
Abby stared at him for a moment. "I have. I did live in Georgia at one time. It snowed there."
Danny chuckled. "Never seen a blizzard, have ya?"
Abby tilted her head up at the man before her. "No."
Danny said nothing as he turned on his heel and headed back down the pavement. Abby sighed heavily, trying to keep herself calm, as she continued walking behind him.
Danny was different. There was just something not quite right about him, it seemed. Two years before, Danny had been fun and care-free. But now, now, something was off with him. He was in a darker place than he had been when he had come to Miami. Maybe it had to do with Aiden Burn. But Abby didn't want to bring up his dead partner. She figured it would be best to just let Danny tell her what was wrong with him, when the time was right.
The building that Danny lived in, and Abby would now be living in, was nicer than she had expected. She had prepared herself for the worst, but tried to hold out for the best. Good thing she had done just that, because it wasn't that bad. It wasn't like her condo style apartment just up from the beach in Miami, but it was still nice.
It was red brick and looked to have atleast 10 stories that reach the sky. There was even a door-man outfront that opened the door for them and greeted them with a smile and a nod of his cap. While Danny said hi to the man and continued on his way, Abby was taken aback and stared at the man in astonishment that that was his actual day-to-day job, just standing outside an apartment building, greeting the residence as they entered their homes.
They walked down the long hallway that led to an elevator. Abby watched as Danny pushed the button. He turned to her and smiled once more, but said nothing.
"What?" Abby asked, pulling at her shoulder bag. It was getting heavy and he had not offered to carry it for her.
"You looked shocked that I have a door-man."
"Well, I don't take you as the kind of guy who would have such a thing."
Danny reach out to her. Abby stepped back, not sure what he as trying to do.
"Your bag looks heavy..."
"Oh. Sorry." Abby handed the bag over to him.
"This all you brought?" he asked, eying the bag she handed him and the small luggage bag she still held to her side.
Abby nodded. "Horatio is sending me my things later this week."
"So, ya don't have nothin' 'cept what's in these two bags 'ere?" Danny asked as the doors slid open.
Abby shook her head as the doors slid open before them.
A couple, a little older than them, stepped out of the elevator. They gave the two CSI's odd looks, then headed down the hall, toward the front of the building. Danny let Abby step through the doors first. She stepped over to the wall, leaned back against it, and watched as Danny pushed the button for his floor.
"Nobody here knows me..." Danny informed her.
"Really?"
Danny nodded as he stepped over to her. "Lived here for about three years now, nobody knows my name."
"Nobody knew me at my old place..." Abby told him.
Danny glanced around at her. He reach over and squeezed her hand, for a moment, then pulled away. They rode the rest of the way up to the 3rd Floor in silence, but it wasn't an awkward sort of silence, it was a nice one for once. An understanding had been made between the two of them. Danny knew that Abby was very much like he was--private. And they clicked very well with each other. She had felt it from the first day, and he was beginning to realize it more and more with each passing moment they spent together.
* * *

Abby followed along behind Danny in silence.
She could feel the tension resonating from him. Sure, he hadn't known that she was coming to New York, but was that any reason for him to be behaving like a child? A part of her wondered why Mac had not told him of her move, but she had been afraid to ask him while she had been in his office. Now, with Danny, as they headed toward the SUV, Abby wanted to ask him what was wrong, but she decided against it, because he seemed to be in a world of his own. Danny had a terrible temper and Abby didn't want to piss him off any further than she felt like she already had.
Danny stopped at the end of the hall, infront of the elevator that they would have to take in order to get to the Ground Floor, where he had parked the SUV, and turned to Abby. He stared at her for a moment. She stared back.
"Don't do that, Abby."
Abby frowned. "Do what?"
"Try an' read me like they taught ya at Quantico," he answered, all seriousness in his eyes.
Abby let herself smile. "You think I'm tryin' to read you?"
Danny nodded, a look over his face that screamed: duh!
Abby scoffed, crossing her arms. "Well, I'm not!"
Danny folded his arms with a smirk.
"What?"
"Just don't try an' get inside my head, 'ight?" he asked.
Abby tilted her head up at him. "You got something to hide, Danny?"
Danny laughed. "No."
He turned and pushed the elevator button. When the door slid open, the two of them stepped inside. Danny pushed the G button. Abby stepped back against the wall. Danny turned to her when the elevator started moving downward.
"You look nice," he whispered.
Abby smiled back at him. She reach over and took his hand in hers. "Thanks, Messer."
They stood, holding hands, in silence for the rest of the ride. Once they were on the Ground Floor, they let go of each other's hand and stepped out of the elevator. They crossed the lot toward a silver SUV. Danny led the way, pushed the alarm off, and unlocked the doors in one swift motion. Abby grinned at him as he opened the door for her to put her stuff inside.
"What?" he asked.
Abby shrugged. "No Hummers?"
Danny glanced around the parking area that was reserved for the NYPD. "No Hummers."
"H would die here," Abby told him as she moved closer.
"Ya think?"
Abby nodded as she pushed her hand against Danny's chest. He didn't move back from her, but he didn't make a move on her, either. She continued her venture, pushing her fingertips up his chest, enjoying the grooves that were his muscles, beneath his shirt, over his neck, and finally into his short hair. He didn't push her away, but he seemed anxious.
"Are you ok, Danny?"
Danny licked his lips. "I'm just--"
"What?" Abby asked, her eyes dancing over his face as she stared up into his eyes behind a set of frameless glasses.
"Not here. Ok?"
Abby smiled slow and sweet at him. "You're right."
And with that, she moved back from him. She turned and walked around the SUV, climbed into the passenger seat, and buckled in. Danny wasn't sure what to think about the situation. On the one hand, he had the perfect girl of his dreams right there in New York and she obviously wanted him just as much (if not more) than he wanted her. But things were complicated, like always, in Danny's life. He still had ties to Lindsay, even though she was being completely ridiculous about everything, but he couldn't just turn his back on her. She needed him. Then again, Abby needed him, too. He wasn't sure what to do. He just had to get through the day, he kept reminding himself. Get through the rest of the day, and everything else would just fall into place.
Danny shut the door to the passenger door, opened the driver's door, climbed in, buckled up, and started the SUV without saying a word to Abby while doing so. The cab filled with the Rolling Stones. He glanced over at Abby, half expecting her to roll her eyes much the same way Lindsay did everytime he had control over the tunes, but she didn't. Instead, she only smiled brightly back at him.
"You don't mind?" he asked over the music.
"Naw. The Rolling Stones? Awesome!," Abby answered.
Danny shook his head with a grin. Now he remembered why he found this girl to be so cool. Danny backed the SUV out of it's space, turned, and headed toward the gate. He had been instructed by Mac to take Abby back to his apartment complex, because there had been an opening down the hall from him. He could help her get settled in, stay with her for a while if need be, because he had the rest of the day off. Danny remembered Mac asking him if anyone had moved from his building, but at the time had thought nothing of it. Now he understood perfectly.

CH 2

Danny and Detective Flack entered the house together.
They headed upstairs where Stella Bonasera and Sheldon Hawkes already were. Stella was taking samples from the vic, a man who appeared to have been stabbed to death, and was lying across an unmade bed. Hawkes was snapping photos.
"What've we got?" Flack asked as he stepped around the bed.
Danny remained close to the door. He was still a little in shock over Abby Walker showing up in the lab that morning. He wondered why she was there. Mac had not mentioned anything about her coming to New York. Was it strictly a visit or was it something else? Was she staying perminently? Was she there to see someone else, but had just stopped by to say hi? Was she transering? Was she going to be helping on a case, then going back to Miami? The questions were endless, but Danny had no answers. He wasn't going to ask Mac, either. He would just watch and wait.
"Danny?"
The younger CSI looked up, shaking himself back to the task at hand. "Yes, Ma'am?"
Stella grinned at him. "You gonna help us, or just stand there day-dreamin'?"
"Sorry."
Danny stepped into the room, reach into his kit, and pulled out his dusting tools. Find fingerprints, he kept telling himself. Work will get your mind off Abby.
"So, this is Mr. Wakely?" Flack was saying next to the window.
"Yep. His wife found him."
Flack wrote something in his pad. "She home at the time of the murder?"
"No. She was at an aerobics class. I'll double check, though," Stella answered.
"We got a weapon over here!" came Hawkes' voice from out in the hallway. A couple seconds later, he entered the room with a broom stick that appeared to have been sharpened at one end like a stake.
"Mr. Wakely a vampire?" Flack asked, cocking a dark eye brow at Stella.
Stella shrugged.
Danny almost jumped out of his skin when he heard the shrill ring of his cell phone. Flack, Stella, and Hawkes stared at him for a moment, all wondering the same thing: what's up with Messer?
"You ok, Dan?" Flack asked, watching him as he fumbled with his cell.
"Messer." Danny gave Flack an annoyed expression before he turned from his friend to take his call.
"This is strange," Stella told Flack and Hawkes.
Hawkes put the home-made stake into a plastic baggie to analyze later. He returned back to the hallway to continue snapping photos. There was plenty of blood in the bedroom, but there was some out in the hallway and he wanted to finish documenting it.
"Ya think the vic was some kinda sick-o that enjoyed dressing up like a vampire?" Flack asked as he pushed the closet door open.
"Possible. I mean, there's a lot of weird stuff that people do in the city. Some of it gives me the heebie-jeebies, Don," Stella shuttered.
Flack glanced over at Stella with a half-smile. "All he has in here are suits and some pajamas."
"Maybe he has a seperate closet for the fetish," Stella answered.
Flack nodded in agreement as he shut the closet back.
Stella stood aback and surveyed the room. "Whoever killed this man was full of rage."
"Lotsa blood."
"And they knew how to get in and get out without anyone seeing them."
"Sure."
"But what I don't get is, why leave the murder weapon behind?" Stella asked, more to herself.
"Inside job? I mean, prints would be all over it, right?" Flack asked.
Stella shrugged, hands on her hips.
"Oh, yeah." Flack smiled at her. "That's where the lab comes in."
"You're catchin' on, Flack. Good job," Stella smiled back innocently.
Danny shut his cell and turned back to Flack and Stella. He looked anxious.
"You ok, Danny?" Stella asked softly.
"Yeah."
"Who's that?" Flack questioned.
"Mac."
Danny turned back to his work. Sure, he was dusting for prints, but he looked distracted. Flack and Stella exchanged looks of concern.
"Something wrong?" Stella pushed.
Danny shook his head, eying the bed side table intently.
"You know, I've got this, Danny, if ya need to leave," Stella continued.
Danny stopped dusting. He looked up. "You sure?"
Stella nodded. "Hawkes is here."
"I can stay if ya need me--"
"Go, Danny! If Mac didn't need ya, he wouldn't have called ya while you were on a job. It must be important."
"I don't wanna leave ya short--"
"Go!" Stella smiled as she said it in a sweet and pleasant tone, instead of saying it in a pushy, domineering sort of way.
Danny glanced at Flack then to Stella. Both of them grinned back at him, sweetly, almost like parents who were proud of their little boy for going potty. After a moment, he nodded ok. He handed his dusting equipment over to Stella then, turned and walked out of the bedroom without another word. He passed Hawkes, who gave him an odd expression but said nothing, then headed downstairs to the front door. He had driven himself over to the scene, so that wouldn't be a problem.
The problem was that he knew what Mac wanted from him. He wanted him to come back to the lab so he could talk to Abby. But the real problem was this: he wasn't sure if he was ready to talk to her...

my 4th post on imdb

i've posted several times on this topic...after a few hours & reading over other sites, i've decided this is where i stand:

first of all, i feel for Lindsay (as a woman) & going thru her day thinking everything was cool b/t her & Danny...that is the worst thing a woman can endure, being made the fool...i've been there & i know what it's like to have a man you love rip out ur heart & stomp on it...

with that said, i do think Lindsay brought the whole thing on herself, tho. whether or not she meant to do it, she did it, she didn't comfort Danny when he needed it the most, she acted in a very selfish way i think by turning everything around & making it all about her...even in the "i've fallen in love with you speech", it was still all about her, jeez!!! also, imo, i feel that she kinda tried to make Danny feel bad for "making her fall in love with him..." then pushing her away when Ruben died...whatever! Danny does not have to answer to Lindsay for how he feels...if she has the right to behave the way she behaves cos of her friends' deaths, well then, he totally has the right to behave any way he wishes over Ruben's death...

(altho, i don't condone cheating...but i have felt that the DL relationship is more of a fantasy in the fangirls heads than really a relationship b/t the characters cos i've not picked up on any vibe that they're in a committed relationship with one another, atleast not as far as Danny's concerned)

now, the DL relationship? i don't think they are boyfriend/girlfriend at all...i think Lindsay's use of girlfriend was just a figure of speech thing, i tried to explain this a couple posts back & i didn't quite know how to explain it...but i think that's the sense she was using it in...trying to make a point that she wasn't like those kindsa girls...maybe Danny's confided in her that he had a crazy ex girlfriend who became obsessively clingy etc, i dunno...but that's what i think she meant by using the word "girlfriend".

anyway, i think the sex in "snow day" was a hook up...and it's always bugged me that they had to drink alcohol before the sex even happened...i don't think they either one regret it happening, it was consentual, but i don't think it was as big a deal to them (at the time) as it was to the fandom...make sense? i think they may have been going out on casual dates from that day on, possibly having fun both out on the town & in the bed, but i think as far as Danny was concerned, he just thought it was two people who were somewhat attracted to each other, enjoyed each other's company, having some fun...nothing more...and i think that he thought Lindsay understood that, cos sex does not equal relationship...

i think the reason why Danny said "i'm sorry" had nothing to do with whether or not he cheated on her...i think that was just something a friend would say to another friend when they are pushing them away/ignoring them & now know that they've hurt the other friend by behaving a certain way...not letting her in, whatever...altho, i doubt Lindsay ever really made a valid effort to comfort Danny...course this is only my take on the whole Ruben death/grief thing...

one more thing before i go, i have been irked by "all in the family" & the way Lindsay behaved about Danny not showing up to work since i seen the episode. if she supposedly loves him, why was she acting like she just knew Danny'd done something wrong...something stupid??? she seemed quite judgemental toward Danny's character, if ya ask me. it was like she was expecting him to screw up!

my 3rd post on imdb

about the grieving/lindsay's friends...i know that grief lasts a very long time, i have lost a significant amount of people in my 24 yrs (starting at a very young age) so i know a lil bit about grief...and yes, i still tear up sometimes when i think too much about a certain person, like my papaw who i was very close to & lost unexpectantly at 12 yrs old...but my complaint is, people can still grieve & still be good people, treat others with respect & not cop-out & expect others to "baby them" just cos they lost someone in their past...i don't think it's right for lindsay to use her friends' deaths as an excuse to behave the way she does...or for the fans to say that gives her the right to treat others the way she does...

about danny/rikki...i saw something there in the scene b/t them (atleast with danny) that made me think he might have more than just friendly feelings for her, too. i saw the way he touched her, the body language he was conveying toward her, the look in his eyes...i've never really seen him look at lindsay that way...i've thought about it for a bit & to me, it seems like rikki brings out something beautiful in danny...a vulnerability that we haven't seen in quite awhile from him...and danny's vulnerable side is way beautiful if ya ask me, when he lets down the guard, lets someone break thru the wall, and as far as i'm concerned, the only person he's really ever let his guard around has been flack (i.e. "...comes around", the pool hall scene)

i am looking forward to see what becomes of this storyline. while i don't ship DL, i do hope that (like i've said, as a woman i feel lindsay's pain) danny does the right thing here...if it's over, tell her...if he wants to be with rikki, be with rikki, the right way...but if he honestly loves lindsay (to any degree) make the right decision! danny's not a bad guy, he's only human...

i'm just wonder something: does rikki know about lindsay?

my 2nd post on imdb

"After seasons of rooting for Danny to get Linsay, this is how he repays me?!"

i actually read on another site that Anna did an interview & she said that it was Lindsay who initially went after Danny...i was a lil confused by this statement cos i always thought it was Danny who was trying to hook up with her...but then i got to thinking about all the times they'd talked about stuff & it does seem like Lindsay is in control of every situation.

i will say this, tho. i did feel sorry for Lindsay as she went thru her work day, knowing something that she did not know...i kept thinking: "he was with Rikki right when you called him." "he just left rikki & came to work...where you are." but this is only cos i've been the recipient of a cheated heart a time or two in my life...i know what it's like to be a woman & i know what it's like to have your heart ripped out & stomped on by a man.

but i don't think Danny is meaning to hurt Lindsay. not really. i don't think he's being a bad boyfriend cos in his mind i don't think there is a relationship at all...atleast not more than a casual thing between friends, if any...

and about her friends deaths & such being the reason she behaves the way she does, that's just a cop-out. i've lost friends at a young age & i'm not going around treating people like my lil play things just cos i've lost someone that means a great deal to me. sure, she may have been traumatized as a young kid when it happened, but shouldn't she have gotten therapy for this? how'd she become a csi if she has all these emotional problems or whatever?

it just baffles me that the DLers will defend Lindsay by saying she is still coping with her friends' deaths (that's why she says or does something that should be thought of as selfish or mean) yet they are quick to judge Danny for what he's done...he feels responsible for a lil kid's death...he was supposed to be taking care of Ruben, Rikki trusted him with her son, same as trusting him with her life, and he died...that's gotta be just as traumatic to Danny as what Lindsay went thru when her friends died.

i'm just sayin'.

my 1st post on imdb

ya know what, i'm about to piss everybody off here, but here goes...

"How could Danny do that to someone who is so wonderful to him"
~are you kiddin' me???

Lindsay is a total b!tch all the time, imo. she thinks the entire world revolves around her. when something bad happens (to anyone) she finds a way to turn it around so that ya feel sorry for her. she just doesn't know how to treat people right, if ya ask me.

~let's see, Danny's brother is beaten up...Lindsay just stands there in the hospital with Flack & Mac like she don't even know what's going on.
~oh, yeah, she broke a date with him...no explaination whatsoever...real mature, Lindsay. she had a cell, ya'll...she could've atleast called & given the boy a warning.
~um, let's see, he took her shift, he almost died!!!! all she could say was: "sorry." sorry??? he almost died, Lindsay! she totally made it all about her.
~then, when Ruben was killed, she never gave her condolescences...even Angell gave her condolensces & they don't seem all that close to me...(argue all ya want that she came into the morgue to comfort danny & danny left her there) but she totally made it all about her once again-asking Mac how she was supposed to talk to him, she didn't know what to do....here's my advice: leave him alone, if he don't wanna talk...give him space...talk to him when he's ready...(then she says that she thought he might need a shoulder to lean on, a lil too late, Lindsay) but then the next episodes, it was almost as if she didn't even act like something bad had happened to him...like it was all swept under the rug...gone.
and Danny was all understanding about her past, her reasons for not wanting a relationship during the whole time, even went to Montana to show her moral support (he could've just called her) but no, he was there, holding her hand, while she awaited the verdict.
~she totally made this speech all about her, too. going on about how she didn't understand how to get thru his grief, whatever. she then says that she's fallen in love with him, making him feel guilty not only for the sex with Rikki that she still doesen't know about, but also making him feel guilty, i'm sure, about being sad...that's not right. he deserves to go thru the grieving process...he doesn't have to answer to Lindsay about how he feels...

what show are ya'll watchin' when you say that Lindsay is so wonderful toward him? she treats danny like crap. she is constantly doing stuff to push him away or acting like he doesn't understand what she's going thru/been thru...Danny's life has sucked majorly...but you don't see him whining about it. constantly using his hardships as an excuse to treat others like crap!!!

so what if he's finding his own way to grieve/get past Ruben's death? people do crazy stuff when they're saddened by a death...i have a feeling Danny's lost right now, he wants to feel again, not numb anymore, he just wants someone to understand...Rikki understands...with that said, i do agree that cheating isn't cool, that's not the way to go, but at the same time, i have a feeling him & lindsay aren't even sexually involved anymore. she didn't say she was feeling like she was losing her boyfriend...she said she was feeling like she was losing her best friend...if they were together-together like we were led to believe they were at the beginning of the season, i don't think she'd said friend, i think she'd said boyfriend...

oh, but wait, she said girlfriend...i think she was using the word "girlfriend" loosely...i mean, girlfriend can mean a lot of different things, not just a guy's girl...she could just mean, she's not jealous of him spending time with other females, ignoring her when it comes to Ruben's death/grieving over it, cos she's cool with the friendship they have and secure enough to know that when he needs to talk, he'll come to her...cos they're friends...i don't think that she meant girlfriend in the sense that she was his girlfriend, why else would she say she needed to let go of the love she had for him? a girlfriend (in a relationship) would never say that.

also, i don't get the feeling that Danny is as sweet on Lindsay as he used to be, if he ever really was...i mean, she was always in control of the situations b/t them...he seemed to enjoy the chase more than anything...i think he's started seeing her for what she really is, too...i think he's starting to see that she's not emotionally mature to deal with a real relationship. ie, her birthday...why act like a 13 yr old who's boyfriend forgot your b-day...suck it up already, you're a grown woman...i think Danny thought it was just fun...nothing serious...my hope is that he lets her down easy, sure, cos i've been there, i've been cheated on, if that's what ya call this...but i also hope he doesn't give in & he lets her know that it's over (if it really is)

that is all. i know ya'll will be mad at me, i expect it. :)

Beware, the Apocolypse has begun!!!!

not really, but in DL world, you'd think it was the frikkin' end...

so, the big question as to who Danny was kissing has finally been solved...........

dum-dum-dum........

it was Rikki!!!

i'm happy about it all, cos i feel that Rikki brings out that beautiful vulnerability in Danny that we haven't seen in quite sometime. if ya watch the scene b/t the two of em, ya get a real sense of something special, atleast with Danny. he was touching her, looking at her in a way that i've never honestly seen him touch/look at Lindsay. i mean, he has a wall, we all know this...and he doesn't just let anyone in...keeps his guard up...but we have seen him let down his guard with Flack (i.e. the pool hall scene b/t them in "...comes around") but never fully have we seen him let down his guard with a woman. Rikki brings something beautiful out of Danny & i for one think that it's wonderful to see that side of Danny, cos we can all be in agreement that when Danny is vulnerable, he's beautiful.

(not to be cliche here, but i think Danny can be summed up in Kelly Clarkson's song: "Beautiful Disaster" atleast in those precious moments he shared with Rikki, no?)

i'm sorry, but people are saying that Danny's a dog...(he's a man, he's only human, he's not perfect) besides, the man's hurting, totally feeling guilty over a death he could not prevent...Rikki understands what he's feeling...she's lost a son, for crying out loud!!! "how could he do that to Lindsay, who's so wonderful to him?" (this was a question proposed at imdb) WTF?! what show are they watchin'? when has Lindsay ever been wonderful toward Danny? i mean, honestly, she's not all that great toward him, if ya ask me. (i won't ramble on about the times i've found that Linday has been a total drag/bitch toward Danny) but i will tell ya this, her lil tantrams are not justified by the death of her friends...that is a total cop-out by Lindsay & her fans...she can still be in grief mode with her friends, but it's not like the world stops when someone dies, even tragically like they did...everyone experiences death, it's a part of life...but most people grieve, pick up the pieces, move on, try to live again, don't treat people bad just cos they think they can.

that is all for now. i have exhausted myself trying to defend my views. i'm done.
maybe later, i can write more profound words to translate what i am feeling at this exact moment, but for now, i'm out of words.

~haters~

i've been reading on the internet about all these Angell haters...

what do all these girls have against Angell?
i love Detective Angell...i think she totally rox!
she's a kick-ass chick & she is too adorable with Flack. :)

some of the DLers think that Angell is a threat to Lindsay & Danny & their relationship. i disagree with that, cos Angell seems to have eyes for only Flack...she does seem to have a friendship with Danny, but she doesn't seem to be romantically interested in him. she seems to resepct him as a Detective & she seems to enjoy working with him, but she doesn't seem like the kinda girl who would swoop in & steal another girls boyfriend...besides, she's with Flack & Danny is his bff, that wouldn't be cool. altho, a 3-some involving Danny/Angell/Flack might be in order...i wish!!! ;p

there's no need to hate on Angell. she's not a bad addition to the cast, imo. i think she's an exceptional character & Emmanuelle Vaugier does a wonderful job playing her. i feel that she is way more developed than Lindsay & she ain't had as much screen time as Lindsay has over the last couple of seasons, either. that's pretty bad when a secondary character seems better formed than a main character don't it? oh well, i for one am looking forward to see what Angell does in later episodes concerning her job, her relationship with Flack, her friendship with Danny, her kick-ass raid skills, lol.

CBS.com/ya kiddin' me???

yeah, so i read over at faylinn's LJ that cbs.com was a crazy place for all the DLers to hang out on and take control over what comments were suitable for their lil discussion boards...i didn't believe it...

so i went over there the other nite to check it out myself. sure enough, there they were, the crazy DL fans making everything to do with CSI:NY related to DL...i wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a thread entitled, who's hotter? ____(insert male character name here) or ____ (insert male character name here) and somehow it'd actually turn into a debate on whether or not DL was flirting with one another in the last episode or whether or not DL will break up in the future & the world as we know it wlll literally end...

it's unbelievable the shit these girls can come up with. i read one thread where they were actually gonna boycott CSI:NY next week IF DANNY HURTS LINDSAY!!! oookkkaaaayyy...i don't care what happens b/t Danny & Lindsay, heck, the worst has happened already, they had sex, but i ain't gonna stop watching my favorite show!!!

(and the whole deal with moderators only people post about canon relationship, i.e. Danny & Lindsay is bullshit. i thought the whole purpose of a discussion board was to discuss, not discriminate against someone just cos they like something you don't like)

i know for a fact over at imdb they don't delete your posts unless they are vulgar, offensive, demeaning, etc. they let everyone have their own opinions & the other posters usually hear ya out if ya disagree with em...they don't report ya...

the smoke needs to clear, guys.
DL isn't the hope for humanity.
we have bigger issues in America.

AW, YA LOVE ME...YA REALLY LOVE ME! :)

my friend Suzanne over at Myspace knows i'm a huge fan of Carmine Giovinazzo...ok, everybody that knows me, knows i'm a huge fan of Carmine Giovinazzo, but that's besides the point. :)

anyway, to show some love, Suzanne made me a couple pix of me & Carmine together...ya know, like they can digitally do with a famous person & you in Gatlinburg & put on a t-shirt, photo album, or mug?

in one she actually put me & Bambi-Sue with Carmine, which is totally cool, cos i'm always tellin' Bambi-Sue that Danny Messer is her Daddy. :)

if ya wanna see em just follow this: www.myspace.com/bambiblake007 & look under my comments section.

B-DAY (wtf?) LINDSAY WHY YA BEIN' A BITCH???

yeah, so CBS aired the new episode tonite. while the episode itself was pretty good, the whole DL shit about Danny forgetting her b-day was absurd!

Lindsay's all bitchy cos Danny forgot her b-day???

what about the time you stood him up for a date, Linds?
or what about the lack of compassion for his ordeal over Ruben?
or what about the time his brother almost died, hm?
or oh, i don't know, what about the time he took your shift and almost died???

gosh, he forgot your b-day? that's not a reason to be a total bitch to him. he could've very well been an ass to you when you did all the above to him...but no, Danny was understanding...he let it go...he was still there in Montana, holding ya hand while ya waited for the verdict.

i am very excited about the "DL bump" everyone's been talking about. i can't wait to see what happens...is it wrong of me to be excited by the prospect of seeing Lindsay cry? (ok, maybe a lil) but i just imagine it all going down something like this:

LINDSAY ENTERS TRACE LAB.
LINDSAY: "Danny, can we talk?
DANNY: "Linday, there's nothing to talk about."
LINDSAY: (ignoring Danny's annoyance) "I know you told me to leave ya alone about my b-day and all...but..."
DANNY: "But what? I forgot." (tries to go back to his evidence) It comes with the territory, ya know?"
LINDSAY: "What do you mean?"
DANNY: (turning back to her) "I mean, I'm a man..."
LINDSAY: (confused) "What?"
DANNY: (talking to her like you would talk to a small child) "Do I have to spell it out to ya?"
LINDSAY: "You mean...?"
DANNY: (waving his hands) "Yeah, it's over. It's been over. Infact, I'm in love with Rikki."
LINDSAY: (a confused/disgusted expression over her face) "Rikki?! the dead kid's mom?!"
DANNY: (annoyed once more) "His name was Ruben. Ya might know that if ya paid more attention to me & less time wollowing in your own self-pity."
LINDSAY: (looking up, still confused) "What?"
DANNY: (arms folded over chest) "Oh, that's right. You never notice that you're wollowing in your own self-pity, do ya?"
BLANK STARE FROM LINDSAY.
DANNY: (realizing she don't get his insulting comment) "Continue..."
LINDSAY: (whinning) "But we had sex, Danny!"
DANNY: (nonchalantly) "Yeah. So?"
LINDSAY: (whispering) "So, I thought it meant something..."
DANNY: "Oh, it did."
LINDSAY SEEMS RELIEVED TO HEAR THIS. SHE SMILES.
LINDSAY: "Really?"
DANNY: "Yeah, it meant that I won the bet." (turns back to his evidence)
SMILE FADES.
LINDSAY: "What bet?"
DANNY: "With Flack, that I could get in yo pants before he could."
LINDSAY: (kinda annoyed, but not quite there yet) "We had sex...and it was all for a bet?"
DANNY: (turns to her, smiles) "Well, yeah."
LINDSAY: "But..."
DANNY: "But what?" SNICKERS BEFORE CONTINUING. "Wasn't it the best sex ya ever had?"
LINDSAY SMILES ONCE MORE.
LINDSAY"Yeah..."
DANNY: (cocky) "Then, what're ya complainin' about?"
LINDSAY STANDS THERE, WATCHING AS DANNY CONTINUES WITH HIS EVIDENCE. SHE FEELS THE TEARS RISING INSIDE OF HER, YET SHE HAS NO WAY TO CONVEY THE EMOTIONS SHE'S FEELING. ALL SHE KNOWS IS SHE HOPES DANNY IS JOKING...
LINDSAY: "It's just that I--I love you, Danny."
DANNY STOPS WHAT HE'S DOING. HE DOESN'T TURN TO HER, BUT HE DOES GRIN TO HIMSELF. IS SHE FOR REAL? HE TURNS TO HER, YEP, SHE'S FOR REAL.
DANNY: "Yeah? Well, that's nice. Thank you..."
LINDSAY: "What?"
DANNY: (very serious) "Well, it was just a good time for me, Lindsay."
LINDSAY: "You don't love me?"
DANNY: (sighing) "I told ya, I'm in love with Rikki."
LINDSAY: "Rikki? What does she have that I don't have, huh?"
DANNY: "You sure you want me to answer that?"
LINDSAY: (putting hands on hips, trying to act all tough) "Yeah. Sure."
DANNY: "Well, for one, she don't bore me with her crap like you do. WaaaWaaa, someone killed your friends...well, someone killed her son, but she don't go around reliving it every moment of every day. She's funny, too. She makes me laugh, she gets my jokes, she don't mind my snarky attitude, or the nicknames i give her. also, she's there for me when i need a shoulder to lean on...instead of thinking the whole world revolves around her & no one else has bad shit happen to 'em except poor lil miss monroe...yeah, i said that...she's cool, she likes sports. she's the kinda woman who can hang out with me on Friday nite and make love to me on Saturday. Oh, & here's the zinger, Lindsay, we have chemistry!!!"
LINDSAY STARES AT HIM, A BLANK EXPRESSION OVER HER FACE.
DANNY: (sighs) "Still nothing?"
LINDSAY: (groans, obviously still annoyed that Danny doesn't understand her complaints) "You forgot my birthday, Danny..."
DANNY: (throwing hands up) "I give up, Lindsay! Yes, the entire world revolves around you. Why don't we have a holiday to celebrate the greatness that his Lindsay Monroe?
LINDSAY: (smiling) "Seriously?"
DANNY: (very serious) "No."

~waiting for tonight~

TONIGHT, NEW EPISODE OF CSI:NY
04/02/08 10pm,WEDNESDAY NITE, CBS

Batmobile vs. Mach 5

ok, remember a few posts back, i wrote about the discussion b/t Danny & Lindsay concerning the coolness of the Batmobile? well, here's the entire quote:

Danny: Speed Racer's Mach 5 does not come close to the Batmobile, end of story.
Lindsay: Are you kidding me? The Mach 5 had submersible capabilites and a robotic homing pigeon.
Danny: Yeah, so did the Batmobile. Along with rocket boosters and armor plating.
Lindsay: Mach 5, rotary saw.
Danny: A'right, Montana. Did Speed Racer's, uh, Mach 5 have a field forensics kit?
Lindsay: The Batmobile did not have a field forensics kit.
Danny: In the Batmobile's trunk it did.

Lindsay: That explains so much.

"Come. Sit." Mac instructed, once Danny was gone. He stepped behind his desk.
Abby crossed the office and set down in the waiting chair. She slipped her bag over her shoulder and placed it on the floor beside her other bag. She smiled at him. Mac set down behind his desk, pulled out a file folder, and smiled back at her.
"You look like I remember," he told her, settling into his big leather chair.
"You, too."
"Horatio's already called. He worries about you, Miss Walker," Mac told her.
"I know." She nodded. "Abby. Please."
"Abby then." Mac turned back to the file.
"Um, Sir?" Abby ventured, leaning forward in the chair.
"Mac."
Abby hesitated. "Mac?"
"Yes?" he asked, not looking up from the file.
"Did Danny know I was coming here?"
Mac looked up then. He folded his hands out before him over the file on his desk. "No."
Abby set back. "Oh."
"You seem disappointed."
"Not really."
Mac smiled, warmly. "But you wish he'd known?"
Abby shrugged. "He seems... Different... Somehow."
"He is different, Abby."
"How so?" Abby asked, her interest piqued. She was a psychologist first and foremost, that was just what Abby Walker was.
Mac set back in his chair. He eyed her for a moment. "He'll have to tell ya that, if he wants ya to know."
Abby nodded, deciding to drop the subject of Danny Messer for the time being.
"Would you like a tour?" Mac asked, suddenly, closing the folder.
"That sounds like fun," Abby answered, sweetly.
The two of them stood, Abby grabbing her stuff, while Mac closed the folder, but held onto it, and headed toward the door. Mac stepped aside and let Abby infront of him, like a Southern gentleman would do, but she had to remind herself that she wasn't in the South anymore. She knew she was going to like this place. Mac was such a nice man, and Horatio trusted her enough to work under him. Now she just hoped she could trust herself enough to do the job to the best of her ability and make Mac Taylor just as proud as she had Horatio Caine.

Mac Taylor took Abby on a nice tour of the NYPD, Crime Lab.
She liked the way things looked: the new mixed with the old. He showed her everything from the AFIS machine to the TRACE lab. He was very thorough and he explained everything to her like she didn't already know what everything was. He showed her the new Homeland Security gadgets that hadn't made it past New York City, but when she questioned why not, he wasn't quite sure himself. He relished in the questions she asked him, even when she already knew the answer and only did it to humor him. He showed her the newest technologies that Miami-Dade could only dream of having someday and some of it really did amaze her. She had no idea about some of the high tech gadgets she would get to play with in New York City. She would have to email Calleigh and let her in on all the cool stuff she had seen on her first day. She wouldn't believe the names of them, let alone all the cool things they did. This wasn't your average Crime Lab and Abby was noticing that more and more by the second.
"This is Danny's office," Mac announced as he stepped through a door that led to a small room with two desks facing one another and one on the other side of the room, each holding a computer, but not much else. "That was Detective Bonasera's desk over there, but she's not in this room anymore."
Abby surveyed the room. It was nice--not as nice as the office she had had when she was at Miami-Dade, and not as nice as Mac's office had appeared to be, but nice. It was small, but held some personal items: a couple pictures on Danny's desk and some ballerina stuff on the other one. She turned to him with a smile, folding her arms over her chest. There was definitely a girl in this office, too. Mac smiled back, coyly.
"Who's in here with him?" Abby asked.
"Oh. That would be Lindsay. Lindsay Monroe. She joined the team a little over a year ago."
Abby nodded. "She's his partner?"
Mac nodded.
"What happened to Aiden?" Abby asked, slowly.
Mac's soft blue eyes glossed over for a moment. He stared at Abby as if he had just seen a ghost. Had Danny not told her about Aiden? Why had he not mentioned it to her? He thought the two of them were friends. Maybe they weren't friends after all. Maybe he had been wrong about the two of them. Mac wasn't wrong about much in the world, but then again, Danny was a hard guy to understand at times. Maybe he had miss read him somehow when they were in Florida.
"Danny didn't tell ya?" Mac asked, pushing his hands against his hips, moving his jacket back a little bit to reveal his badge.
Abby shook her head. "Nothing about Aiden."
"She's dead, Abby."
Abby's eyes widened, but she said nothing.
"She was killed a year ago," Mac continued.
"Danny never told me, Sir. I'm sorry."
"We miss her. She..." Mac's voice became shakey. "She was a CSI til the end."
Abby smiled. "That's a good thing."
"Yeah. She was a good person. You would have liked her."
"I'm sure. Danny talked a little 'bout her, ya know? But then one day he just stopped mentioning her. I figured she quit. I never asked any questions," Abby answered.
Mac nodded. "He was really close to Aiden. He likes to hide things from the world. But you know that."
Abby stared at the man before her, dressed in a black suit with a tie, his blue eyes taking her in. He knew something he wasn't telling her. She wanted to ask him what he was thinking, but decided not to, because it was her first day on the job and she couldn't be suspicious on the first day of work with her new boss.
"Shall we?"
Abby nodded without another word spoken between the two of them.
Mac turned and started walking back in the direction of his office; Abby followed close behind. When they reach his office, Mac stopped infront of his desk and turned to Abby, a serious look over his face. Abby stayed close to the door, she was afraid to move. He was so serious--totally different from Horatio. But not in a bad way.
"See this here?" Mac held up the file that was still in his hand.
Abby nodded.
"This is the file that Horatio sent to me. I have everything on you here, Abby." He opened the file and scanned through it. "I have your school records here, test scores, Acadamy records, Quantico, background check," he explained. "Hell, I got ya bank account information here and your Social Security number just to name a few personal things that ya might not want out to the general public."
"I understand."
Mac looked up from the file and smiled slowly at the young woman before him. "I don't wanna make a mistake, Abby. I was told a million times over by everyone above me not to hire Danny Messer because he was a loose cannon. Now, I understand you have some skeletons in your own closet."
"I do. I told you about Brady Hooper."
"Yes, you did. And Horatio filled me in on some things when we spoke. But I just want your word, that I am not making a mistake. I want you to promise me that I won't have the Captain on my ass if I hire you," Mac told her seriously.
Abby scratched her eye brow. "I promise you, Detective Taylor, you're not making a mistake in hiring me. I am very good at what I do. You said so yourself. I love my work. When I focus on a case, I give my all. The victims come first, in my opinion. I don't think there's any other way of viewing what we do than to say that the victim comes first."
Mac nodded. "Very good answer, Abby. That's what I wanted to hear."
Abby breathed a sigh of relief.
"Welcome to the NYPD Crime Lab," Mac reach his hand out.
Abby shook it with a smile.
"Any questions?"
"Where will my office be?" Abby asked, unsurely.
Mac closed the file and lay it down on his desk. "Come with me."
They walked through the lab once more, stopping outside the door that led to Danny's office. Abby stared at Mac, questionably. He smiled back at her, a knowing look over his soft face. She bit her bottom lip for a moment, afraid to ask any questions, because she feared she already knew the answers.
"Are you serious?"
Mac nodded. "Yes."
"You want me and Danny to share an office?" Abby demanded.
Mac nodded again.
"But I had my own office at Miami-Dade."
"I understand that, Abby. I'm sorry. You will use Detective Bonasera's old desk," Mac pointed to the empty desk in the corner. "She just got an up-grade."
Abby cut her dark eyes over to the small desk, which set off to it's own in the darkened corner of the office.
"Besides, you know Danny," Mac continued. "It'll be good for you to be in the same room with someone you already know and trust. That way, you won't have such a hard time adjusting to your new enviroment."
"Does Danny know?" Abby asked after a moment.
Mac shook his head.
Abby stifled a laugh under her breath. "You keep throwing me into his world, Sir."
Mac shrugged. "It's good for him. Trust me. He'll thank me later."
"You think?"
"I know."
Abby nodded slowly. She wasn't going to argue with him. If Mac Taylor said it was a good idea, well then, it must have been a good idea.

POOR DANNY...

awww...poor lil Danny!
he's all a taken aback by Abby arriving at the crime lab.

...Plan B might be the solution since she realized, as she stepped closer, that Danny Messer was standing in Detective Taylor's office with him. She started to turn and run away like a cowardly 12 year old, but it was too late--Mac saw her. He smiled warmly at her as he motioned for her to come join them. Danny wasn't paying attention, he still had his back to her--pouring over a report, when she entered the office.
"Miss Walker? Did you have a nice flight?" Mac asked.
Before Abby could answer, Danny turned to her. His beautiful blue eyes widened in confusion as he took her in. He couldn't believe his eyes. Abby Walker was standing behind him. She was just as beautiful as she had been two years before: same chocolate brown hair (just a little shorter), same intense brown eyes, same smile, and same innocent face. She looked like a tourist with her sunglasses high on her head, an i-pod, and a bag slung across her chest. She was still just as breath-taking as he remembered. He almost forgot to breath.
"Abby..." he whispered, barely speaking beneath his breath.
Abby smiled at him, slow and sweet, like a Southern woman would do in a situation like this. She wanted to run to him. She wanted to hug him. But she gripped her shoulder strap, instead. They held each other's eyes for a long moment. Both of them remembering what it had been like the last time they had been together. It had been wonderful that day on the beach, just the two of them. Alone. In a perfect world. Together.
"I'm sorry I couldn't come and pick you up myself. Hectic day," Mac chuckled, oblivious of the two CSI's as they stared intently at one another. "But I see you found the Crime Lab just fine."
Abby broke the stare. She turned to Mac. "It's ok. I understand."
"Good."
Abby smiled at the older man. "There was a really nice old man who helped me."
Mac and Danny looked at each other. Was that too random? Abby wondered as she watched them exchange odd glances at one another. She shifted uncomfortably in her spot. She needed her stress ball, but it was in her black-hole of a bag which she lost everything in, it seemed.
"Danny, aren't ya goin' say hi to the pretty lady?" Mac asked, suddenly.
"How ya doin', Walker?" Danny asked, making the question sound more like one word.
Abby bit her bottom lip. "Hey there, Messer."
The three of them were quiet for a moment. Abby hated awkward silences, because she never knew what to do to fill the void, she just didn't know what to say. And neither man seemed to know what to say, either. Damn it! She really needed that stress ball.
Danny cleared his throat. "If that's all, Mac. I--"
"Sure, Danny. Get back to work," Mac answered.
Danny nodded, turned, and headed toward the door. He brushed up against Abby as he stepped by her. She wondered if he did it intentionally or not. She wanted to grab him and pull him to her, but she resisted the urge. Instead, she let the moment pass and let him go on about his business. She would get her chance to talk to him later.

i love that, Mac says: "danny, aren't ya gonna say hi to the pretty lady?"
danny's all like: "how ya doin', Walker?"
then, in response, Abby says: "hey there, Messer."
oh, yeah, they're in love...

CH 1

Abby Walker stepped off the plane into JFK airport, New York.
The airport was buzzing with excitement. People were going this way and that. She didn't know which way to go herself, but she needed to get her luggage, which consisted of a Louis Vighton suitcase. She headed toward baggage claim and stood for half an hour, watching others get their bags, and fearing in the back of her mind, that maybe her stuff had been lost. Finally, her luggage came around on the conveyer belt and she grabbed it before it disappeared. She headed toward the front of the airport. She thought Monday mornings in Miami were murder--she hadn't seen nothing yet!
Abby stepped out into the crisp breeze of New York. It was colder than she had expected, her jacket, which she often complained about being too warm in Florida, not protecting her from the elements as much as she would have liked. If she had been in Miami, it would have been well near 70 degrees at that very moment. She scolded herself for thinking about Miami: thinking about the beaches--the board-walks--the sun--the surf--the sand between her toes. She was in New York now. This was her home. There was no turning back.
Her lips already felt chapped. She ignored the cold wind that was blowing through her dark hair, which she had pulled up into a clip high on the back of her head. She felt her ears begin to burn from the cold also, but decided it was best to ignore that, too. She would have to get used to the weather. She knew this before she ever moved. The wind chill was like zero degrees outside, but it wasn't what was bothering at the moment. What was bothering Abby Walker was the fact that she did not know how to hail a taxi cab.
Abby stepped over to the edge of the side walk, one bag over her shoulder and the other one at her side. She stared out into the bustling city and wondered what to do next. She saw others stick their arms up high and a yellow car would stop for them. She saw some whistle, and others just walk right out into the street. Her instincts kicked into over-drive and she wanted to tell them to be careful, but she thought better of it when she remembered where she was. This was not Florida. Things were different here. People were different here.
Abby was thinking this when someone bumped into her. At first, she feared it may be a mugger, so she clutched her bag close to her chest. It was an older man with grey thinning hair sticking out from under a golfer's hat. He looked at her quizzically for a moment, then mumbled something under his breath in Italian. Abby stared at him for a moment, unsure whether she should speak or not.
"What're ya doin'?" he asked, his accent thick, but not threatening.
Abby glanced around, not quite sure if he was speaking to her or not. "Me?"
He moved his hands irratically. "Anyone else standin' here?"
"I guess not."
He mumbled something else under his breath in Italian. Abby didn't know the language, but she had heard it enough to pick out from Spanish. She was more accustomed to it, being that she had lived most of her life in Florida.
"What're ya doin'?" he asked, his wrinkled face softening for the first time since he'd approached her.
"Are you going to cuss at me, Sir?" Abby ventured. "I'm sorry for being in your way." She had heard that New Yorker's could be very rude when they wanted to be. She hoped apologizing to him would deter him from saying anything mean to her.
The old man smiled. "I work over 'ere at a deli," he pointed down the street, in the southern direction, as he spoke.
Abby turned to look. She didn't see a deli. She nodded anyway. Humor him like you would any other old man, she supposed was the best thing to do.
"I know you're a tourist."
Abby smiled, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I just got here."
He nodded. "I don't like to see pretty girls wandering the streets alone. Too much crime. I have a daughter of my own. I know that New Yorker's have a reputation of being rude, but I'll help ya out."
Abby couldn't believe her luck. She blushed, feeling the happiness descend on her. She wouldn't be standing out in the middle of the street looking like a dumb-ass, after all.
"Thank you," she told him.
He put his hand up as if to say there was no need in thanking him. Abby took the hint and said nothing more.
"Where you headed?" he asked, heading up the street.
Abby took the hint and followed. "The New York City Police Department--Crime Lab."
He stopped, turning around. "You in trouble?"
"No." Abby smiled at the old man because he looked genuinely concerned in his eyes. "No. I'm their new Criminal Profiler."
"What's that?" he asked.
"I get inside the minds of serial killers," Abby answered bluntly.
He weighed that explanation for a moment. Then he continued walking. "You need a cab. Ever hailed one before?"
Abby shook her head, still trailing along behind him.
He glanced over his shoulder; he looked shocked. "Where you from?"
"Florida. Miami, actually."
"Never been there. Too much sun."
Abby chuckled at the sarcasm coming from this old man. He looked like your typical grandpa, but he spoke with a thick New York accent. She thought about Danny then. She shook her head, trying to block out any thoughts of him. She did not want him to distract her when she was learnng how to hail a taxi cab in New York City.
The man stepped over to the edge of the busy street. Abby stood back a couple feet, afraid to get too close to the street edge. There was a lot of traffic around her--more than she was used to. The old man reach his arm up high and gave his hand a quick wave. A yellow cab pulled up to the curb, almost instantly. He turned to Abby with a huge grin that reminded her of a child who had just done something right. She hurried over to him and he opened the back door for her.
"Enjoy your new job," the old man told her as she climbed inside the open door.
He started to push the door shut, but Abby stopped him. "Sir? What's your name?"
He tilted his head to the side. "They call me Lazlow. I own Antonella's Deli. Come in and have a sandwich sometime."
Abby smiled up at him. "I will. Thank you."
Lazlow shut the door. Abby watched him as he pulled his coat tight around his small body, tipping his hat downward over his eyes, to keep the wind out. He headed up the street, toward the city lights; he was lost a midst the crowd before she knew it.
"Where to?" asked the cabby, cutting into her thoughts.
Abby took out the slip of paper she had jotted the address down on and handed it over the seat to the driver. He read it, handed it back to her, turned on the meter, and pulled back out onto the busy street without another word. Abby reach in her bag, pulled out an address book--tattered and worn from years of abuse--and wrote the name of the deli in the back. She would definitely be paying Lazlow a visit. He had been so kind to her, when he didn't have to be. She pushed the book back into her bag, settled into the seat, and took out her i-pod. She needed to relax before she got to the NYPD Crime Lab.

* * *
Abby looked up when the cab stopped.
She pulled her i-pod ear phones out and set up. She stared at the cab driver, a confused look over her face. "Excuse me? Are we there?"
The cab driver looked up in the rear-view mirror at the young woman in his back seat. His eyes were the color of midnight, his brows were black and bushy, and his face was brown. Abby felt nervous, suddenly. She couldn't help but think about 9/11. She had never been to Ground Zero, but she had cried just the same when the towers had fallen. Her instincts screamed for her to be cautious. Without realizing she was doing it, she reach for her bag. She might need her gun.
"Sir?" Abby asked, slowly.
The man stared at her for a moment more. He pointed to the meter. "Twenty-seven, thirty-five," he said, his voice thick with a foreign accent.
Abby moved her hand from her bag. She got her change purse out, instead, and rummaged through it. She pulled out the amount the man asked for (plus a tip), handed it over the seat, and thanked him for giving her a ride to the NYPD Crime Lab. The driver took the money, graciously, a smile coming over his face for the first time since Abby had stepped foot into the cab.
Abby opened the door, feeling the cool wind as it blew against her face. It was prickly, and definitely not as fresh as the wind that blew in Miami, but it was still nice. She smiled to herself as she climbed out of the cab. She pulled her bag out with her, shut the door, and turned to head up the sidewalk. The NYPD Crime Lab was only feet from her now. It was real--finally!
Abby slung her bag across her chest as she walked up the sidewalk. In a matter of minutes, she would be there. She would be inside the building that was going to be her new home. She would meet the people she was going to be working with. She would see Danny Messer again. Things were going to change, but for the better, she knew it. Abby had to believe this as she pushed her hands deep into her jacket pockets, because if she didn't, she might listen to that inner voice that was screaming: Jump back in that damn cab and drive away!!!
Abby climbed the steps that led up to the NYPD Crime Lab. She moved aside to let a couple uniforms by, then proceeded up to the door. She reach out and pulled the door open. This was it, no turning back. She stepped into the building, hearing the buzz of faint conversation. She made her way down a long corridor, wondering which way was the right way to go. There was no one there that she recognized and she wondered if she would even see Danny what with the number of workers that seemed to be there.
A young guy in a lab coat came out of a side door. He was dressed in a lab coat, so Abby took the chance to assume that he probably knew Detective Mac Taylor. He looked busy, reading a report, but Abby decided to stop him and ask him if he could point her in the right direction.
"Excuse me?" Abby started.
The lab tech looked up from his report. He stared at Abby for a moment, then a slow grin spread over his face. "Can I help you?"
"Can you tell me where I could find Detective Mac Taylor?" Abby asked, slowly.
The young man turned and pointed down the hall. "At the end of this corridor, you'll come to an open lobby. Detective Taylor's office is up a set of stairs, straight ahead, can't miss it."
"Thank you," Abby smiled at him.
"No problem."
Abby continued down the corridor, excitement spreading throughout her body the closer she got to the end. Sure enough, with in seconds, she was greeted by an open lobby. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was definitely cozy. She glanced up, and there it was, Detective Mac Taylor's office! Abby almost fainted right then and there. She took a deep breath to keep herself from swaying forward. This was going to be ok. She just had to keep telling herself that. But if all else failed, she always call Horatio. She did have him on speed-dial.
Plan B might be the solution since she realized, as she stepped closer, that Danny Messer was standing in Detective Taylor's office with him.

CSI:NY story # 2

I CAN'T DECIDE

by: Mandy

THE SCISSOR SISTERS
--I Can't Decide--

vs. 1
It's not easy having yourself a good time
Greasing up those bets and betters
Watching out they don't four letter
Fuck and kiss you both at the same time
Smells like something I've forgotten
Curled up, died and now it's rotten

vs. 2
I'm not a gangster tonight
Don't want to be a bad guy
I'm just a loney baby
And now you've gotten in my way

chorus:
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We're going for a ride

vs. 3
It's a bitch convincing people to like you
If I stop call me a quitter
If lies were cats, you'd be a litter
Pleasing everyone isn't like you
Dancing jigs until I'm crippled
Slug ten drinks I won't get pickled

vs. 4
I've got to hand it to you
You've played by all the rules
It takes the truth to fool me
And now you've made me angry

chorus:
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We're going for a ride

bridge:
Oh I could throw you in the lake
Feed you poison birthday cake
I won't deny I'm going to miss you when you're gone
Oh I could bury you alive
But you might come back with a knife
And kill me when I'm sleeping
That's why

chorus:
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry
No wonder why
My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds
We're going for a ride

Name Changes

ok. first of all, i decided to tweak a few things in my CSI:NY stories.

the characters that i created, their names for one.

*i changed Abby's name from ABBY DONOVAN to ABBY WALKER, i just like the last name WALKER better is all. plus, Detective Walker flows better, i think.
*i changed Cadence's name from CADENCE HOOPER to BRADY HOOPER. idk, i just liked Brady better than Cadence. to me, Cadence started to sound like a girl's name.

in the first story, it was all about the case, no? (i tried) i did have a few holes, i noticed as i read over the final copy, but i don't have any kinda program to edit my stories on, so yeah...

well, in later stories, especially the one that i plan to do a la "Trapped" style when Abby & Danny probe a shooting at Antanella's Deli, they get trapped in (yes, Danny, another panic room, damn!) with a lil girl cos she is scared & decides to push the "panic button" like she's always been told to do if anything should ever happen...

there will be more one-on-one action b/t the characters, since Abby's arrival, cos i wanna do character stuff more than the cases. not to say that the cases won't play a major role in the stories, cos it is CSI:NY, after all, but i wanna get to the heart of the story-line b/t Abby/Danny/Lindsay/Flack, ya know.

i know some of ya'll are wishin' for the smuttiness that i have not gotten to yet, but the smut will be in the later ones, promise! :) i just wanna make ya'll wait for it, cos i'm mean like that. no, i just wanna play up the dynamic b/t Danny & Abby first. i wanna show ya'll that there's more to their relationship than just sex!!!

i will be posting my 2nd story soon. :) i will try not to be so slow about posting "I CAN'T DECIDE" like i was with "BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS" k?

Laguera's Post

this is the title of her post from Feb. 25, 2008:

The 14th Precinct - Oh, CSI:NY, You're So Cute in Your Wanking Britches, Trying So Hard to Be a Big Boy

(so the stalker chick must've been rumored a few weeks before i got wind of it, guess i'm just not hip-to-the-trip, lol) really, i just don't keep up with the whole fandom scene cos i'm not a member of it... ~without further ado~

CSI:NY fen is in a lather over its recent appearances on fandom_secret. Apparently, the DL crazy has reached toxic levels, and an unnamed fen denizen has been accused/outed as stalking Carmine Giovinozzo, going so far as to lurk outside his home for several hours.

Setting aside the seriousness of that type of crazy, I do wonder what the stalkette would have said if he had come out?

"I come in peace."

"Got a pool table, and if you do, can I consecrate it with my own stain? I'm not contagious, I swear."

"You're shorter than I thought." (that is just mean!)

And why do the NY fangirls obsess so rabidly over Carmine? He might be a talented actor, but he's always struck me as a trifle pompous and certainly infinitely less approachable than his male co-stars, Eddie and Hill, who are, IMHO, vastly more articulate and gracious than him. To be blunt, reading Carmine's interviews is akin to watching a chimpanzee masturbate at the zoo.

Have some DLers so conflated the actor with the role that they can't separate the real Carmine from the fictional Danny Messer? Are they enthralled by the idea of the bad-boy, emotionally unavailable fixer-uppers? Or do they just have a latent furry fetish that manifests itself in an inexplicable lust for bipedal weasels who look like bathing is optional on most days?

Maybe Carmine uses Axe body spray. How dirty boys get clean. Sort of. (this is just mean, too!)

On a more serious note, I feel for Carmine and hope that this incident, if true, is isolated... Previous line redacted in the ridiculous, overblown need for fandom security, and God, I hate doing this because it's such chickenshittery, and for fuck's sake, it's fandom, a lazy fucking fandom, at that, not the NSA, and if I'm supposed to be the MIB, I want my fucking Raybans... In any case, I sincerely hope he's checked his attic and crawlspace for any furtively lurking cable installers with psychotic identity crises.

I am amused by the gravitas exhibited by most CSI:NY fen when they're confronted with this wanklet. They refer to it in hushed, somber tones, as though it were a Category 5 perfect storm. I can only laugh, because as a veteran of the Wanketnam known as Potterfen, I know it's just a burp that wouldn't satisfy the gaping maw of Fandom Wank for more than three minutes. Not after Laptopgate, Lexicongate, and the disgusting 4Christina.org firestorm that consumed Fandom Wank for days. A rabid CSI:NY fenner with a stalking jones for Carmine is mere garnish on a flaming wank flambe.

uh...did she just call Carmine a bum??? gotta love girls that don't get us "rabid fangirls", huh? it must be a sad lonely existence not being a fan of Carmine Giovinazzo. ya gotta be a fan of Carmine to understand us! ;p

i disagree with her line about how he seems pompous & less approachable than Eddie & Hill & her opinion about how Carmine is less articulate & gracious than they are....ookkaayy...sure, he has his philosophies about life (who doesn't) & does seem a bit more liberal than the others...but'cha gotta remember, he's also a very creative person by nature & sometimes people don't understand people who think with their creative side...i know this from personal experience cos as ya know, i'm a writer...and sometimes people just don't get me.
i don't know about you, but i feel that Carmine is very gracious & he appreciates his fans/their support. i've heard good things about how he's answered emails & such.
true, there are girls out there that can't distinguish b/t Danny Messer the character & Carmine Giovinazzo the man behind the character, but there are those of us that find a nice balance, ya know? like Carmine's said himself, the two of 'em are kinda similiar, but not completely...anyone with half a brain would realize that Carmine might be incorporating some of his "Staten Island Roots" into his role, but one must also remember that Danny Messer is a fictional character!!!
i've been a fan for quite some time & i've never gotten the impression that Carmine's pompous or unapproachable, he seems very down-to-earth to me.
whatever...i like dirty boyz... ;o

"He'd (Danny) probably be sitting at Flack's desk after hours or something and he'd be the naughty boy he is and go rifling around in Flack's drawers peeking at what bad, bad toys Flack's keeping in them. And then, he'd cut one of his fingers while skimming through some gay romance novel and go hunting down Flack and then demand that Flack kiss it to make it feel better."
((kimmychu's response))

i could sooooo see Danny doin' this! :)
how cute would that be???

but the whole bit about Danny rifling thru Flack's drawers while he was away from his desk...yep, Messer would totally do that if he got bored.

i can just see him sitting there, getting all anxious cos no one's there to talk to him & all the pretty shiny things are out of sight. (must find shiny things...) thus, leading Danny to rifle thru Flack's drawers.

~good times!~

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
ok, i'm not a 100% D/F shipper, by any means, cos i'm not that obsessed with guy-on-guy action, altho Carmine & Eddie are too sexy boys and if there was to be some guy-on-guy action, i'd love to see those two go at it ;p however, i can see the appeal of the relationship that the slash girls out in fandom have for it. let's face it, D/L pretty much sux, except for the one time they did have sex in s3 (but they had to get drunk b4 that even happened!) so...i'll admit it, i sometimes even find myself daydreaming about Flack whisking Danny off into the sunset *who loves his kinkapoodle? jackhammer loves his kinkapoodle!*, leaving Lindsay outside the crime lab, mouth wide open, wondering what the heck just happened???

THE SECRET'S OUT!!! (posts that started it all)

SECRET #1

you think we are best friends.
you tell me you're going to marry this man one day and i squee for you.
we even made a private LJ group to talk DL and bash the roaches and that bitch Angell.
but secretly, I HATE YOU.
i'm so jealous you went to his house and sat outside for THREE hours. i'm so jealous your in NY waiting for him and Anna to be there filming episodes.
i hope you never see him. you're so UGLY. he'll never fall in love with you. he's not your future husband.
HE'S MINE.

SECRET #2
i thought we were friends. we used to message each other and chat about him all the time.
then you went to LA and took photos of his house and showed them on your journal. you wouldn't give me his address though you promised you would.
i was so nice to you. i was your friend and you lied to me. i know you left the board to avoid me.
~first secret: i told you love DL but i could care less about it. i have been talking with the "roaches" behind your back.
~second secret: i promised you i would never tell the things you've done like send Zuiker letters begging for a job.
oops. sorry. NOT.

SECRET #3
you told people how good i am at writing smut. when you made the lj post about the flames you got for your DL story i showed you support and told you to ignore them.
the truth?
i agreed with the flames.
YOUR DL SMUT SUCKS.
MINE IS FAR BETTER THAN YOURS.
i only wish i had the guts to tell you but i'm scared you will make the others hate me.

apparently this is the interview that started the whole thing! http://www.csifiles.com/interviews/carmine_giovinazzo3.shtml

(the DLer that the poster is referring to supposedly wrote some stuff in her Myspace about how she was gonna marry him ~seriously, no joke here~ then, read his anti-D/L comments in above interview & got pissed off at Carmine & erased all of the post about him)
