ALL IN THE FAMILY

ok. so ya'll know i absolutely loved the episode, CHILD'S PLAY, inwhich the lil boy danny was babysitting for the day was murdered, right???
well, in ALL IN THE FAMILY, the story continues (so to speak) danny has to hunt down ruben's mom before she shoots the baddie who caused her son's death with danny's gun! danny disappears, lindsay is concerned, she asks flack to find him. flack goes to danny's apartment and finds a pic of the dead kid with some numbers that looked to be a phone number danny had jotted down on top of the pic, so he takes it to lindsay who does the science thing and figures out what the numbers really are: a telephone number, to the parole officer assigned to the convict. flack tracks danny down outside his office and asks him why he's wasting his time & jeopardizing his career to catch scum like him...danny explains that ruben's mom came by his apartment earlier in the day and stole his gun...flack tells him to turn her in before she shoots someone and they blame danny...danny says no, he won't make things worse for her. flack doesn't like it, but he agrees to give danny time to find her (and he'll even help him)
so...the two of them split the list of possible jobs/hangouts of the perp. while waiting outside one of them, danny spots the perp and ruben's mom! he follows them. meanwhile, flack puts an APB out on danny's cell phone after he don't answer his calls. flack finds danny's motorcycle on the street and heads down the street to find him. flack finds danny with the perp and rikki, who has his gun drawed on the baddie, ready to kill him dead.
danny intervenes and tells rikki that if she wants to kill someone for her lil boy's death, she should shoot him, cos he was responsible for getting him home safe & sound that morning. rikki gives the gun over to danny, in the end.
it's very dramatic. danny hugs her and lets her cry on him. he doesn't wanna turn her in, cos he feels like she's been thru enough and she doesn't deserve to be punished any further.
flack, on the other hand, gives danny an hour and says that he'd better bring rikki in and fill out a report, cos she stole his gun and hunted down a felon with intent to kill...
danny tells him he'll do the right thing, just give him time.
at the end of the episode, flack is at his desk, waiting for danny. danny and rikki come into the squad room, and flack has angell take her to booking. he assures danny that he's already called ahead and she won't have to spend the night in jail. he also tells danny that he doen't need to beat himself up over ruben's death, cos it wasn't his fault. he tells him that he needs to move on, it's time.
danny asks flack how he's supposed to do that...
then, it goes off.
FOR GOOD???
i hope not.
i hope the strike ends soon.
i need to know all about what happens to danny...
~does he deal with ruben's death?
~move on?
~hook up with rikki and break lindsay's fragile lil heart?
i need to know what happens b/t flack & angell...
~did they go out for that irish coffee?
~did they do the nasty afterwards?
~do they become partners?
i need to know what happens to rikki...
~does she really not spend a night in jail?
~does she get charged with stealing danny's gun?
~does she get charged with trying to murder a perp?
~does she ever grieve over her dead son properly?
~does she seduce danny messer like we are all hoping for?
